Muft Atta Scheme 8070 is a program initiated by the Punjab government to assist poor and deserving individuals. Under this scheme, a subsidy of 64 billion rupees has been allocated, aiming to benefit 10 crore people. To be eligible, one’s monthly income should be less than sixty thousand rupees, and they should belong to the poor and deserving class.


To register for the scheme, individuals need to send an SMS with their CNIC number to 8070 from their registered mobile number if they are already registered with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) or PSPA. They can then collect three bags of 10 kg flour from PSPA registered stores or truck points.

For those not registered with BISP or PSPA, registration can be completed at any Benazir Income Support Program tehsil office, free of charge. However, certain eligibility criteria must be met, including having a monthly income below 60 thousand rupees, belonging to the poor and deserving class, meeting the government’s poverty score criteria, not benefiting from any other program, and having no criminal record.

The Muft Atta Scheme aims to provide relief, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also announced the Nigehbaan Ramadan Package, where eligible individuals can receive three bags of 10 kg flour for free in phases.
